I`m locked out of my Aspire A114-31.....

Hi
I cannot get on too Windows 10 on my new  Acer Aspire and it just trells me IA need to delete files and free up space from my jard drive (which I can`t get to) to do that and am now jujst going round in circles on it.Nothing seems to be working and cam anybody tell me how to get out of this situation and either old or new Windows install on it....

    Hi @i0wl ,
    Try doing a system refresh to reload the OS, follow the below steps to do it ;
    Start Windows 10 and on the login screen, click on the Power button. Hold down the Shift key and clickrestart. You will see the following screen. Make sure you hold the Shift key down when Windows isrestarting and don't release it until you see the first screen with the troubleshoot option.
    Hit Accept if its useful :)

    * select reset my pc option.
    * select keep my files option and try doing a reset on the unit.

    I can`t get as far as WindowsI`m just going round in circles on the recovery options screen......

    1. Turn off the unit
    2. press and hold the ALT key and turn ON, the unit before you see the acer logo tap continuously on F10 key, to get into the recovery options.
    3. Your system should boot to a blue screen that says Choose an option. ClickReset your PC. 
    4. Select the option keep my files and  reset the unit

    It says the system desn`t have any  cd/dvd Boot option
    i think I might  have installed  a dodgy BIOS update....

    Can you check , by doing a RESET in BIOS. follow the below steps;
    1. Restart your computer. 
    2. Wait for the computer's first turn on
    3. Repeatedly tap Del or F2 to enter setup. ...
    4. Wait for your BIOS to load. ...
    5. Find the "Setup Defaults" option. ...
    6. Select the "Load Setup Defaults" option and press ↵ Enter . ...
    7. Save your changes and confirm your selection if necessary.
    Hit Accept if its useful :)
