Tip:
Never install games on a drive with enabled compression. Yes, compressing data will save disc space on the drive, and for large files like games, its very tempting to enable this. The downside is that during gaming, the processor will have to uncompress the files again thus adding load to the processor which will cause longer loading times and stuttering. Its ideal to turn it OFF for disc with operating system, games or programs that you often use. Turn it ON for  disc with files that you only rarely use.

To check if your drive is compressed or not.
1. right click your drive (ex: drive C:)
2. Then check if "Compress this drive to save disc space" is ticked or not. Un-tick box to disable compression.

Have Fun!
