Predator Z271 Monitor turn on by itself with signal cables disconnected

Hello,

I've recently started getting some issue with my Predator Z271 Monitor. For a solid week now the monitor will turn on at random intervals even with DP/HDMI disconnected. I've googled and checked every single thread that has similar issue without success.


                           Following things ive tried:

  • Checked all powercfg  - count is 0 and no services/tasks that are enabled
  • Power plan and options are disabled
  • All maintenence and updates are disabled
  • Disconnected both Displayport & HDMI
  • Replaced cables and checked with different PC
  • Disable "wake on lan" on network interface
  • Reset factory settings on monitor


I've had this monitor for slighly over a year now and had no issues but just started happening.


Any advice would be appreciated

    Since you have tried the possible ways, there might be some issue with the port which your trying to connect, it might something to do with the hardware of the unit, i would suggest you to contact acer support, and check whether it can be fixed; use the below shared link
