My x27 won't accept higher than 60hz refresh rate.

I've tried restarting
I've tried using the display on different computers
I've tried using different HDMI (even 2.0) cables
I've tried to use different DisplayPort cables
I've tried using different ports on the video card
I've re-installed windows
I've updated Nvidia drivers
I manually installed the most recent x27 driver
I've tried overclocking the display (windows shows 144hz is available)
I've restarted the monitor
I've tried adjusting the refresh rate in Geforce experience
I've tried adjusting the refresh rate in windows
I've tried many resolutions (1080p, 1440p, 4k)
I've read every x27 post on the forum trying to find a solution
I've entered my serial number to see if my display was eligible for a firmware update (it's not)

Other monitors adjust the refresh rate just fine.

Seems like no matter what I try, when I try to get above 60hz the monitor will flash for a second at the higher rate, but then the screen turns black and after 20 seconds, the display reverts back to 60hz.
