I have a predator G3-571. The problem I'm having is that when I lean my vape up against the laptop on the left side bottom part of the computer it immediately goes to sleep. I thought maybe there was a secret button there or something but I don't see or feel one. When I try to get the same result touching it with my hand nothing happens. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. Any one have an idea what the heck is going on? Also nothing happens when I lean my vape the same way on the right side.

Emichuchu Thats probably some magnetic interference interfering with the components and that should be where the battery is and some other components my advice is i would avoid keep doing that it might damage something permanently

I know I’m late to this party but theres a sensor there that triggers magnetically when u close your laptop to put it to sleep or shut down. Change settings to “Do Nothing” when u close ur laptop and it will just turn screen off without shutting down or sleeping.
