So I recently got a 2018 Helios 300 (i7 8750h, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD) and there is so much that's great about the laptop, besides the thermals. No matter what game I play (unless its extremely light) the CPU easily can go above 90 degrees celcius. Even a game as light as Minecraft reaches an average of 93 degrees in terms of the temps. Whereas playing a heavier game like GTA 5, Forza Horizon 4, or Fortnite it stays around 95 and can go as high as 98. My keyboard gets so hot to where I will just plug in a controller instead and my fans are basically jet engines. If anyone knows of any fixes please let me know. :) (Btw I have tried undervolting in XTU, there was basically no difference)

puprr12 dont use xtu uninstall it completely and use TS instead optimize windows and undervolt with TS follow the links in my signature to download TS confs for your cpu and watch the windows optimization video if the thermal issues persist i suggest you to repaste it with kryonaut or similar if you can open it without voiding the warranty but if you have seals you have to send it for a repaste check if they would use the thermal paste you would provide if not you have to stay to what they have also bare in mind that games like pubg/fortnite/rust etc are really badly optimized games and will always have issues regarding temps they arent accurate so i suggest you to test your real temps with proper optimized games
