Don’t agree with Acer Repair centre diagnosis.

I sent my laptop in for repair as it won’t boot and they diagnosed it as a faulty hard drive and repaired it free under warranty. That’s fine. But they also want to charge £25 for a replacement ‘upper cover’ which they say is damaged. The laptop was in perfect shape when I sent it so I know I didn’t break it. What can I do in this situation?
