Hello, I have an Acer Switch 5 model SW512-52 that has a dead USB-C port. After plugging an HP charger that takes USB-C in the Switch 5, the port stops working when I plug an external device or USB-C flash drive in; even in the BIOS it won't detect a bootable USB-C drive. I tried updating the BIOS, resetting the UEFI settings, and uninstalling and reinstalling drivers in Windows. None of these seem to work.

Are there any possible solutions to fix a dead USB-C port in the Switch 5? I mainly use the computer for surfing the web, Discord, and watching YouTube videos

    (1) Does Device Manager show any red or yellow warnings?
    (2) What is voltage output of HP charger?
