Acer aspire Vn7 boot problem

Hi,

My laptop acer aspire Vn7 won't boot. 
Same problem as found elsewhere on the Internet. 
When connecting the power cord. The orange led goes on. When I press The power bitten the blue led goes on, the keyboard lights go on. And I hear a fan spinning. Besides that I hear an unusual clicking noise on the left side of the bottom. The screendisplay and USB port do not receive power. 

I've tried several 'fixes':

Different kinds of battery resets (power button held for 30 seconds. Battery reset pin hole held for 30 seconds.) al separately and with and without the power cable connected. 

Laptop is intact/ not opened before or modified. 

I don't know what to do anymore. 
Do you guys have any tips left?

Update, 

I have changed out the ram bank for 2x 4gb.and the battery on the motherboard. And.  still the same problem. When I disconnect the battery the laptop tries to boot and start up but shuts off automatically and tries again. Screen still shows nothing. And I hear no beeps or indicators.
