Predator 300 2019 1660ti Overheating?
Hiya folks, so I was having some issues with my new Predator helios 300 that I ended up fixing with a fresh windows 10 reinstall.
However, after reinstalling everything including drivers, software, and programs from the product downloads page for my laptop, and updating the bios I'm getting temps that I know for a fact aren't normal on this machine.
Playing For Honor I was hitting 92c on the CPU with Turbo mode enabled.
With turbo disabled I was hitting 85-88.
In the past, the hottest this thing has gotten on FH was 82c max, cooler than that at most times as I always play with turbo mode on.
I also seem to be missing my Acer power plan in my windows power plans, which I found to work much better than Balanced or High performance for me personally.
Would it be something to do with the power plan, and if so is there any way I could download it from somewhere?
As I know it's not a fault of the hardware, because the temps were fine before my reinstall.
Should I contact Acer to see if they can help or is it something completely simple I'm just overlooking?
