Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52) Are double sided NVME drives safe?

I purchased a double sided 1TB NVME drive for this laptop and noticed that the temps can get up to 60C when transferring lots of data. Is that safe if the drive is double sided? I'm worried that it can cause damage to the motherboard.

Anarchaoz It should be safe im not sure if you use some thin cooling pads on one of the chips sides (mobo side) hat you would be able to still fit the drive in place (probably not) do you do rendering works ? was that the reason why you went to nvme personally i only have sata and its more than enough for gaming and 90% of my games are on normal external 2.5" 5tb hdd 10gbps usb3.0/usb-c enclosure only had to move 2 games so far to the ssd to get better performance and for the price of 1tb nvme i got 2tb sata but its just my opinion and i think you should be fine if your overall temps are still fine

I bought an Inland 1TB NVME because of the price, I didn't realize it was double sided until I received it. If I had known, I probably would have just bought slower m.2 drive instead. No issues so far but I'm worried that over time it'll damage the motherboard because of the heat. I have all of my games loaded onto it right now and have been monitoring it, it looks like it only really gets hot when I'm transferring data to it (downloading games). When playing games it sits between 20-40 C. I was planning on using this drive for just games and have a SATA SSD in there as well for everything else.

You could simply buy a drive enclosure that would allow you to use this as an external driver connected on usb-c or usb 3
