Predator PH315-52 Slow Wired Connection but wireless is fine

I recently bought the Predator PH315-52, GTX 1660 Ti version, with the Killer DoubleShot Pro Ethernet and Wireless adapters ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QXLFLXT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and I can't figure out why it seems like every single website I try to download from when connected to wired ethernet, averages less than 1 MB/s while the other computers in my house download from the same websites MUCH faster at average of 10 - 12 MB/s on wired and wireless connections. The units listed here are in megabytes per second, not megabits per second. If I connect to wireless then download speeds seem fine at around the same speeds as my other computers in the house. If I have both connected then download speeds also seem to be fine... It's just when I try to use wired ethernet by itself (and not connected to wireless at all).

Transferring files over the local network to and from the laptop seem to be fine, averaging around 60 - 100 MB/s depending on the file sizes. It just seems to be affecting file downloads from websites. The strange thing though is that when I check my speeds on speedtest.net it reports approximately 150 mbps down, and 10 mbps up, which is way faster than the file download speeds I'm seeing. I've been seeing these slow speeds on every browser I've tested (Tested Edge, Chrome, and Firefox).

Things that I have tried to resolve this:
* Windows updates

* Reinstalling the Killer drivers
* Using Killer Software Uninstaller tool found on the Killer website then reinstall the drivers and software suite
    * I have tried the Performance Suite, the driver only installation exe, and the INF package

* Turn off Advanced Stream Detection in the Killer Control App
* Uninstalled Killer Control App

* Resetting router and modem
* Tried a different known good ethernet cable (Cat 5e)
* Tried a different port on router
* Reset of browser programs to their freshly installed states
* Factory Restore on laptop

Have not tried BIOS update yet. My BIOS version is 1.02 and looking through the BIOS revisions on the Acer support page for the laptop, there doesn't seem to be any release notes that indicate that a BIOS update would fix the issue.

I have been scouring the Killer website, Google, and various forums on the topic for the past two days, tried all of the suggestions and nothing seems to be helping... I would like to not have to be connected to wireless all the time to get decent internet speed, it defeats the purpose of having a wired connection in the first place :S

    Did a little more digging, and one more factory restore later, I have determined that it seems to be Windows 10 update build 1809 that is the culprit as far as I can tell. Before this update is applied ethernet speeds seem fine all around with an average of 10 to 12 MB/s on file downloads. Then after the update it drops to horribly slow speeds (at least with file downloads) down to less than 1 MB/s.

    I'm not sure how to get Windows updates to accept the 1903 update. It stops for me at 1809 and just says no more updates available.

    I did try uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling, multiple times, and tried Acer stock, Killer Performance Suite, Driver only install, and INF package.

    Do reset from Acer Care Center (if you want to). Or try uninstalling the ethernet driver completely from Device Manager and reinstall the one in Acer Support site (do this while disconnected from internet).

    I have already tried the Acer Care Center reset twice and uninstalled then reinstalled the ethernet drivers multiple different ways (Device Manager, Add/Remove Programs for the Control Center, Killer's removal app, etc) with and without internet connected.

    One thing that I noticed though is that if I set the Speed & Duplex option from Auto Negotiate to 100 mbps full duplex, the speeds will be a lot more tolerable (Up to around 7 MB/s) but then the NIC will refuse to connect at 1.0 Gbps speed which severely impacts local LAN performance (There's no 1.0 Gbps option strangely enough, even though my router, and all my other computer systems support and connect at this speed).

    What happens when you select "1Gbps Full Duplex"?

    There is no option for 1Gbps Full Duplex or 1Gbps Half Duplex. There is only 10 Mbps Half Duplex, 10 Mbps Full Duplex, 100 Mbps Half Duplex, 100 Mbps Full Duplex, and Auto Negotiate. I have already tried Auto Negotiate (which is the default option).

    I finally managed to get Windows Update to let me upgrade to Win 10 Build 1903 but the issue persists.

    A very strange thing that I noticed is that if I connect to a wireless network and then disconnect from it, the wired connection starts to work as expected until I reboot the laptop. After which the wired connection speeds go back to being abysmal. It suggests to me that it is possibly a driver/software issue with Killer; but their latest drivers don't seem to fix the issue for me either.

    That's quite strange. My 2017 model with 1050Ti has this "1 Gbps Full Duplex" option.

    Quite possible. Even the Acer drivers are just their customised versions. So that may be the root cause.

    I am unsure what to do at this point but I have opened a support ticket on Killer's support page asking about it. Thank you very much for your time, patience, and advice :)

    No problem :) as we are here to help fellow members. I would also recommend contacting Acer Support. They might have an answer to your query internally.
