Windows 10 does not recognise Acer S240HL as my 2nd monitor. I could not find drivers for Windows 10. What can I do?

    Good Morning xAnju !

    What configuration of your computer?
WIndows 10 does not use monitor drivers like its previous versions.

I am on a Dell Latitude E5250 latitude. The monitor is connected via Lenovo USB 2.0 Port replicator with Digital Video using the USB/monitor connector. I have since replaced the cable with an HDMI cable. I can see 2 display adapters in the Device Manager. One is Intel Graphics (R) 5500 and the other one is USB Port Replicator. However, the system does not recognise 2 monitors. In Display Settings, it shows one monitor picture with 1:2 written on it. Clicking Detect gives message "Did'nt detect another display"

1:2 means it's seeing the second monitor and trying to duplicate the internal display on it. Try using Windows-P to choose display modes and extend to the second monitor instead of duplicating.

I have no idea what has changed but it is is working now. I just removed the monitor to laptop cable and reconnected to the monitor via the Lenovo duplicator. And it has detected the 2nd device!!  AND let me change the 2nd monitor's resolution!! Thank you Billsey and McClane for helping.
