Hello, is there a detailed guide in repasting this laptop? Will it make a difference? The laptop doesn't run too hot bTW. Just looking for lower temps as I would be traveling to Nigeria soon which is pretty hot.

Yes after LM your cpu temp must reduce by ten degrees both in auto and turbo

Davoncci if you are looking into repasting it i recommend kryonaut or similar check my signature there is a brand new video on Hotel Hero youtube channel that he made about repasting i also recommend the spread method by just covering both diodes with juts a thin layer its enough bare in mind too much paste its not good neither too less it has to be just the exact amount i have dropped down 25+ after optimizing windows/undervolting and repasting with kryonaut the first week i got it also upgraded everything at the same time

Interesting! Thanks for your answer. About the under-volt, did you further under-volt the laptop because it comes undervolted out of the box? I tried doing that, but it became unstable. What voltage did you use for the Core voltage and also the cache voltage? I was able to under-volt core temp alone to -0.169v while the cache voltage, I couldn't push past -0.125v( which is the default under-volt). Can the core voltage differ from cache voltage?

Secondly, how did you optimize windows?

    Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for your answer. I am so scared of that LM. I will rather use Kryonaut and be safe.

His and mine (both have G3-572 from 2017) don't come pre-undervolted from the factory.
Trying to do my best here - Your happy Predator owner =)!
