Hello, I recently bought the Nitro 7 with i7 9th gen intel core, 16gb ram, 256 ssd, and a dedicated gforce gtx graphics card. I've only had this laptop a few weeks, I've done all of the windows updates and the laptop can't seem to open files in sketchup, freezes constantly on autocad on drawings a fraction of the side of my old Acer Aspire (i7 3rd gen, no ssd) could open easily whilst running sketchup at the same time! This laptop should be much more powerful but it can't do anything without freezing and the fans going to max. Have I set up the laptop wrong? All of my documents are on the SSD but it won't let me move them onto the 1tb internal storage so I assumed it should be kept that way. i.e the project files I'm opening are on the ssd. I really hope someone can help I spent way more money than I wanted to and I need this laptop for work and I am a recent graduate.
