Acer Predator laptop warranty - website says 2 yrs, online tools says 1 yr....

So the Acer website says that predator laptops have a 2 year warranty but when I registered my laptop and checked the with the online tool it is only a 1 year?  Which is it?  I bought this laptop for the 2 year warranty as stated on the Acer website.

    For the record I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 - 9750h, 1660ti version.

    As far I know, all Predator units does NOT comes with 2 yrs warranty. Few comes and other few comes with 1 yr Standard Manufacturer Warranty. The best I recommend is to contact Acer Technical Support in your region https://www.acer.com/worldwide/ and check the warranty for the product.

    Thanks.  Looks like I will be returning these then.  Complete BS that Acer advertises a 2 year warranty on their site and then attempts to screw consumers over.

    Just confirmed with chat it only has a 1 year warranty.   Ironically, when I called in I was assured it had a 2 year warranty by an acer rep.  Looks like these will be going back to Amazon.

    I don't want to say this (as the laptop is great) but you did the right thing. I read the 1st link of yours and it indeed states warranty of 2 years for Predator Laptops sold in Canada/USA. When I (Indian) bought mine in 2017, it came with 1 year Standard Warranty and 2 years of Additional Extended Warranty (which had to be purchased) and it was clearly specified by the seller.

    The 2 year only apply to us/ca all other countries its 1 year itw as far as I'm aware I advise anyone investing in any predator to buy extended warranty

    Dealing with the same issue mate! Terrible customer services! The agents have absolutely no idea about the policies of the company they work for!! One agent tells me its 1 year in the system and two years otherwise. The other says its 'not two years at all despite the website clearly stating that it does! What did you end up doing? mine is a 1800 dollar machine and i'll be happy to return it if need be
