I am having a hard time using this laptop on battery mode as the battery drains very quickly. I noticed the battery drains very fast at 1% per 1-3 minutes. I tried using battery saver mode and even lowering the brightness. Also tried resetting the battery with the small hole at the back of the laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, I am sorry to hear it.
Try uninstalling and re-installing the battery drivers of the unit, follow the steps below:

1)In the search box on the taskbar, enter device manager, then select Device Manager.
2)Right-click (or press and hold) the battery drivers of the device, and select Uninstall.
    3)Restart your PC.
4)Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver

Did you condition the battery in accordance with Acer instructions when you bought the laptop? If not please do it now. Drain battery to about 10% then recharge and repeat for a total of 3 times, after this always recharge when battery reaches 20%. Also this is a gaming laptop and modern gaming laptops are NOT designed to play games on battery power only, so BEFORE gaming charge battery to 100% then keep plugged in and charging while gaming. I have the same model and I can watch 2 full movies on battery, the only way you are going to achieve the advertised battery life is doing mundane tasks such as word processing. Hope this helps

Will try all the solutions above, just to add I use light tasks only such as Chrome but have other apps running such as Rainmeter making my RAM usage around 80-85 and I don't know if that has a part with the laptop draining faster.

It could well be, for best battery life close down all unneeded background processes
