Headset not detected on Nitro AN515-53

I've looked everywhere on the internet for answers, but to no avail. Hopefully someone on here can help me out.

I own a Acer Nitro 5 (model Nitro AN515-53) and bought a headset for gaming, the HyperX Cloud Stinger. The sound works, but the microphone does not. When I bring up the sound control panel, the headset does not show up and the microphone remains internal. I have tried updating every driver I can, reinstalling, adjusting settings, voodoo, the works and NOTHING has made them work.

I want a way to use my headset without resulting to using an USB adapter like everyone else that had this problem, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Connect the headset to the input p2 and then click the black icon:

Thank you, but the headset is still not showing up and the mic does not work.

Again, thank you, but this is not the case for my laptop. It will not even detect my headset.
The sound works, but not the mic. It only allows me to chose the internal microphone.

unfortunately no since the method provided i bleive requires that the computer detects the headset, which mine still does not
my headset works on discord just not anything else so i guess ill just live with it, thanks for the help
