I've got a brand new R11, and when I try to enable Google Play Store, it waits about a minute and then I get, "GMS services are unavailable." The thing is, I bought two of these at the same time, one for my wife. She had no problem. What am I doing wrong?

Check for ChromeOS updates in settings. You may have gotten an older brand new machine than your wife  :) Jack E/NJ

Thanks, JackE. I found that my Chromebook had ChomeOS version 56 and so I updated it to 75, which fixed the problem. My wife's machine had the exact same version, though. It turns out she had to try several times before succeeding, where it never worked for me. Who knows? Anyway, we're both all set now.
