laptop shuts down when charger gets unplugged (Aspire VN7-791G)
I have had this problem a couple of times the past year. this is the second time this week it's happening. my charging cable doesn't connect very well in my laptop to begin with. I have this issue for almost a year now. I don't know what the problem is or what caused it, but it's losing contact with the slightest touch/move and I have to play with the cable so my laptop is 'plugged in'. I'm going to bring my laptop to a service soon but right now I can't cause I have to finish my work first. anyway, it just happened again. when the charger got 'unplugged' my laptop shut down and I thought it was dead cause it wouldn't turn on. I was playing with the charging cable again and turned it on, noticed my battery was at 0%. I mainly plug my laptop in all the time cause either the battery life doesn't go very long, since I use my laptop a lot at school and home, or I have a low frame rate when I'm playing games/using graphic apps so I need that charger to be plugged in all the time for better performance. I know that ain't good for your pc's battery but at this point I couldn't care about the battery life without having it plugged in. I just want to know what is causing my laptop to go from a 100% plugged in battery to a 0% unplugged in a second. when this happens my battery just needs to be charged again to 100% (which doesn't take long) so it's very weird.
