I want to install new windows on Acer Aspire 7750g, I have windows 7 home premium 64-bit on usb stick, made with Rufus (iso,GPT,FAT32)
Boot menu is enabled and boot priority order is set usb first.
PROBLEM: I can't get Windows boot setup to start. It starts Windows normally (but Windows doesn't work).
I have tried everything I could find on internet but nothing helped.
Can't find "Legacy mode", can't find "Secure boot", supervisor password created, USB port is 2.0, "Advanced" tab not appearing with A+F10
Laptop came with installed Windows 7 home premium, so I tried alt+f10 at start to recover Windows - nothing's happening.
I would be grateful if someone has some advice. (Laptop is from Germany)
Here are some pictures:

    Good afternoon Seco !

For this installation, some factors should be seen:

1- ISO must be unique and exclusively mono-version with the standard x64 bits (Utimate, Professional or Home) and with SP1 included
2- The pendrive must be created with Rufus in GPT mode with support for UEFi
3- In bios, the Secureboot must be disabled and the mode set to UEFi
4- The HDD must be converted to GPT

    Hello MaClane !
    Thank you for your answer.

    1. Checked
    2. Checked
    3. Can't find those in bios, I posted pictures of bios.
    4. I will try this.
If HDD is MBR, will it work if I create pendrive with Rufus in MBR mode?

If the bios is set to UEFi mode, you must convert the HDD to GPT and the USB stick as well.

USB stick is GPT, and after converting disc to GPT I get this message on start: no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key
Why can't I find UEFI or Legacy mode in bios?

Not all bios have more support for Legacy mode.
Some that still retain the inherited mode can be enabled when the superuser password is created.
