Hi Acer Community,
As everyone knows the Acer Swift 5 is light as hell but comes with a bad side, that's the battery just being 36wH, I recently bought one and I intend to use some tool to downvolt the processor but all the software that I've tried using all isn't working I dont know why, Intel XTU return a Fatal Error Message and ThrottleStop return a file not found message. So, I'd like to ask if anyone have experience in undervolting the Swift 5 specifically SF514-52T model.
Thanks in advance guys.

  • It looks like the latest version of the xtu program is not compatible with mobile processors! Here's a possible solution here: https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/9uog50/intel_xtu_uncompatible_with_i5_8250u/
