These are the two models in question. Are the specs correct that one uses a Lithium Polymer, and the other uses a Lithium Ion? They are the same laptop but use different batteries? Does one perform better than the other?

Also, are the batteries inter changeable? If I buy the model with a polymer battery, and buy and ion back up, can I use and charge the ion backup on my laptop?

Thanks.

TeaB as far as i know the batteries should be the same as they are both lithium and have the same capacity the only difference its the cpu 8th gen to 9th gen thats why probably the batteries arent the same description polimer/ion as the 9th gen its more powerfull should use more battery when only on battery and why would you want to replace the battery because the battery should never be taken out unless its faulty and needs replacement also you might void your warranty if you do so anyway just a warning its your decision in the end

You think the batteries are the same? Is there a reason the 9750H model is less expensive than the 8750H model then?

Lithium Ion and Lithium Ion Polymer are two different types of batteries but maybe you are right and it was mislabeled.
