Hello guys,

I bought this computer for about 5 months now but it's getting really annoying with the lag spikes so decided to ask for help.

Initially this computer was extremely lag, booting up/logging in/etc, any process will lag the computer. I managed to troubleshoot it by updating the intel graphics driver to the latest and it was kind of smooth. But however, everytime there is new nvidia/intel graphics driver, the laptop will get extremely laggy unless I update it.

It also can't run much process in the background compared to my old acer aspire F15, for example just download updates/stuff will rack up the disk usage to 100% compared to my F15 I can at least browse the web while letting my games to update.

Moreover, it will have constant lag spikes as well, about 10 mins interval where it just drops to 10-20fps for 3-5 secs and goes back to normal. (league of legends)

I have changed the settings on nvidia control panel to have my preferred graphics processor as Nvidia, switched my power options to high performance and also have both intel and nvidia to the latest drivers available.

Related specs are as follows:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8300H CPU @ 2.30GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.3GHz
8GB Ram
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

Will give more info if needed, thanks in advance for the help!
