MODEL NUMBER ACER PREDATOR g3-571
I just wanted to ask if anyone else is using Bluetooth peripherals for their laptops and getting a bad connection?
I am using a Bose QC35, and I've been having issues with the connection. I'm sure it's not with the headset because when I use it with my phone, it's absolutely fine.
The connection with my laptop is full of static and whenever I make calls, the person on the other line can't even understand what I'm saying because my connection is a mess. I have already tried removing and reinstalling the Bluetooth driver multiple times. and it isn't just with the headset. I connected my speaker to it as well and it's the same issue. It's got nothing to do with the distance either since I tried it with the device right next to the speaker once and it was the exact same thing.

Bare in mind the bluetooth its shared/buit in the wifi adapter itself (as far as im aware) if youre having issues with it i would probably try and external usb adapter they are pretty cheap and they should also work fine its just my suggestion anyway :) also have you tried to update/downgrade the drivers or connect any other devices to it and check if the same issue happens or if its restricted to that device only if so i would say it would be some kind of incompatibility from that device itself

Also your model G3-571 network specs should be Networking
10/100/1000 LAN Card (10/100/1000MBit), 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0 Bluetooth Version and the bose qc35 works on Bluetooth V4.1 so im not sure about the compatibility/connection reliability from 4.0 to 4.1 but as i said test other bluetooth devices on it and see if the connection holds up

The moment I read the Bluetooth is built into the wifi, it hit me. I turned off the wifi and BAM instant fix. Guess it'll have to work like this and I'll just be plugging my laptop to the wifi router using an ethernet cable... Thanks man :)

Using the latest update. I keep my system up to date. the problem was that whole Bluetooth and wifi being shared...

Zeroel glad u got it sorted and yes they share the same adapter so probably not a good solution for using both at the same time with some devices :)

I was about to suggest you to update only your Bluetooth driver using Drivermax. But you got your issue solved although partly. I updated my Qualcomm Wi-Fi driver as well which solved the frequent Wi-Fi disconnections in Windows 10 1903.
