My chromebook wont type properly on certain websites

whenever i try to make a tumblr post or youtube comment, as soon as i type the cursor moves itself back to the beginning of the line. I've tried everything i can think of but it wont stop.

Please try hard reset and check. 

Turn off the device and unplug the adapter. then Press and hold the power button and refresh key ( 4th button on the top row ). Hold these 2 keys together for 10 sec and then test the device.
