I purchased an Acer  N50-600-ER11 and it came with a HDD. I would like to use the HDD for storage and add a 1 TB SSD drive. ?   1) How difficult is it to clone the SSD and 2), Can I utilize the M.2 2280 slot or do I have to by a Sata III with cables and bracket?

    Good evening LarryAce !

There is no difficulty at all.
According to the manla of service, this model has slot for SSD M.2 2280 Sata3 or PCIe.
Then you can either use a M.2 2280 SSD or a standard Sata 3 2.5 "inch.
For cloning you can use Macrium Reflect.
