Hi,
Should I replace my Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51-78NP (2018 model , Based on GTX 1060 , 6 GB) on newer model Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-52-78VL  (2019 model, Based on GTX 1660 ti , 6GB) because I still can exchange through Amazon of course, but price range on new model  on  200  dollars (+tax) more from old model, and I wonder will it worth performance if I will pay on 300$ more , will i see more performance with gtx 1660ti, if I using now GTX 1060??
and how I see reviews from Amazon (USA), people said that if you do install SSD  on your own it might be lose your warranty.. thats why I asking, how need to install SSD? And I heard in this 2019 model using only one metal blade and one plastic, but in 2018 model two  metal blades, does it?

Sasha23 if your budget allows it go for the newer of course but the older its not bad either i only have one aeroblade on my G3-572 and it works perfectly fine if youre in the USA you dont have any warranty seals you can open it and upgrade it yourself as long as you dont damage anything in the process because if you do you will loose your warranty if you exporting it from the USA you will loose the warranty automatically so you can do whatever you want anyway plus the new 2019 comes pre undervolted thanks to a well known member here Acer listened and finally did it

Yeah, I see in my model with GTX 1060 goes two aeroblade , but in newer model using only one metal blade and one plastic right?
and if I want to replace in my laptop RAM on faster one ..lets say
Kingston HyperX DDR4 2666 or HyperX Predator DDR4 RGB 16GB, Will I see more FPS in games? and what RAM do you recommending use for Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-51-78NP (2018 model , Based on GTX 1060 , 6 GB)?

just to add, sometimes I can see stuttering in games, like drops FPS, for few seconds, still not nice feel about it, laptop not so cheap to feel this expeirence during play games, but it is normal behaviour laptop?

Sasha23 i am pretty happy with 32gb dual channel hyperx impact 2666 so i would definitely recommend that for any one of the predator series but its not cheap regarding the fps it might be due to thermal throttling or something else also it has been proved that ram in dual channel its much better that single for ex 16gb 2x8 instead of 1x16 have you optimized windows/undervolted it and if still needed repaste it, in my opinion everyone should repaste it (with kryonaut or similar) it  makes a huge difference when properly repasted regarding temps/throttling on 2017/2018 models but of course always check first if you wont void the warranty by doing it yourself

I see on Amazon around 155$.  But RAM can be  3200MHz or 2933 MHz or it to much?? and it s true that new model has one plastic and one metal aeroblade?

    Regarding
windows/undervolted it and repaste , I did not undervolted laptop, and never done before repaste in my life, but I have friend who know about it maybe I can ask him. And regarding temperatures, I had only in one games HUGE temperatures CPU 92 Celsium and GPU 89 celsius degree, this game was name Assassin's creed origins, and anyway I bought this game and do not liked at all (only graphics cool),..and can not return game even ):
But games like Batman arkham knight I have around 70 FPS on Max setting graphics and Rise of the tomb raider ( 62 FPS)( Max setting graphics) and temperatures CPU 61 Celsium and GPU 61 celsius degree
I just not sure if I ready pay 300$ more for new model with gtx 1660ti, because I see on benchmark test gtx 1660 ti faster my GTX 1060 around 20 fps maybe 25 fps in some games. Just not sure if it worth almost 300$ more to pay for it..

Is doesnt matter because each fan runs on separated heatpipes (not like the 2018 models) and it already comes pre-undervolted so it has great temps to upgrade u have to disassemble the bottom

I see, only warranty can be voided if i will install ssd on my own thats what I most afraid of.. :# you mentioned you using Acer predator with GTX 1050-Ti  You get enough performance in games?

And I most worried to dissapointed in FPS with 1660 ti afraid maybe I will not see such a big different in FPS compare to GTX 1060??

Im still fine performance wise with my 1050ti properly tweaked will still kick in great but of course if fps its what u (most) want it wouldnt be enough for you :) but anyway i only work with what i can afford because if i could upgrade to the new one of course i would :)

Yeah I see you have less temperatures :) .. I mean sometimes I have the same like you does. But in intense Game as assassin's creed origins insane temperatures like CPU 92 C and gpu around 80 I think or 75. But regular CPU is 70vs GPU 65-72C , So u recomending  undervolting ? and I still can not decide what to do about replace laptop on new one with gtx 1660 ti, I see gtx 1660 ti can give  in some games FPS on 20 more and  some almost on 40 FPS than gtx 1060 can give.. but this differens cost almost $300, you think it worth it?
