black line on the screen

sometimes black line displayed on the screen and then screen gets very dim and then laptop screen turned off . after long pressing the power button it working normally.whats the reason??can u plsss tell me

    Hi, sorry for late reply. Kindly try to do Powerdrain to release unwanted potential energy stored in your computer by following the below steps.

    1)Unplug the AC power adapter.
    2)Press and hold the Power button down until the unit goes off. 
    3)Search for a pinhole reset on the backside of your laptop, insert a small paperclip in the battery reset pinhole, press and hold it down for 25 seconds. Then release the paperclip and try to turn on the unit and check.

    MOHAN_SIVKRISH also just to complete this procedure that MartinJohn00001 suggested above let it rest for 2/3h to make sure all static power remaining is gone after boot into bios load setup defaults/save boot normally and see if the issue persists if still there also check if the ram compartment motherboard kill switch its properly pressed and it might also be a display issue either the cable connector loose on either side or the display itself
