hi

i have a new chromebook, resfurbished acre spin 11. The touchscreen keyboard doesn’t seem to work correctly, I wonder do I have it in some sort of predictive mode, if that is possible? I type in letters and for example hit one number and letters appear after the number, similar to what I have typed, so I wonder if there is some sort of predictive mode and I’m using the keyboard wrong? I have gone through settings and can’t see anything so any help would be massively appreciated. Also the delete key wouldn’t delete one of the words that came up from typing one letter, (I type m and the word Homebase comes up)

    Hi @minnieme ;
    Try doing power wash on the unit, follow the steps;
    1. Sign in to your Chromebook.
    2. At the bottom right, select the time.
    3. Select Settings .
    4. At the bottom, select Advanced.
    5. In the "Powerwash" section, select Powerwash Restart.
    6. In the box that appears, select Powerwash Continue.
    7. Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account.
    Hit Accept if its useful :)

    thanks for this, it has only be used in guest mode a few times, I don’t see an option for power wash, I’ll look into trying this. Thank you
