DRAM Frequency is lower than it should be. No advanced tab in BIOS
Last night I tried adding a 2gb ram card on my Aspire F15 - F5 572G- 50AX. It fitted so I assumed its the right card. Launched a game only to notice I was getting half the fps I usually get, and even lower. All good, I removed the card hoping it would fix the problem but it didn't. My games still run with less fps than they are supposed to run. I read many articles on the internet saying I can change the speed in the BIOS, but my bios doesn't have an Advanced tab where I can change it. Some sites said press A and Advanced will appear, others said to press FN+Tab 3 times, neither worked.
My original card is Kingston 8GB DDR3 L
Info on CPU-Z:
NB Frequency :2594 MHz
DRAM Frequency : 798 MHz
CAS# Latency 11.0 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay 11 clocks
RAS# Precharge 11 clocks
Cycle Time 28 clocks
Row Refresh Cycle Time 208 clocks
Command Rate 1T
What can I do?
I also removed the card and put it in again
