Hi there,

I am having some trouble with my right touchpad button all of a sudden. For the past couple of days the right button isn't working at all now when I press it. I have looked tat the drivers and it is all up to date. I have cleaned the touchpad with compressed air etc etc.

Has anyone encountered this issue before and know any fixes? (I feel like it probably a simple fix but I don't know where to go from here)

    Hi @Twanderer ,
    Even after updating the drivers still the touch pad is not working, then try doing a system refresh on the unit; follow the steps below;
    1. Navigate to Settings. ...
    2. Select "Update & security"
    3. Click Recovery in the left pane. ...
    4. Click Get started under Reset this PC.
    5. Click either "Keep my files" or "Remove everything," depending on whether you want to keep your data files intact.
    Hit Accept if its useful :)

    Good afternoon Twanderer !

    What version of Windows?
    Have you tried simply removing the touch drivers from the device manager and restarting the device?

    I run WIndows 10 Home atm. When I plug in a wireless mouse, I can then right click so I believe it is an issue with the touchpad (broken button maybe) I have removed the drivers and reinstalled and restarted and it didn't fix the issue unfortunately.

    Twanderer have you tried to change the touchpad settings in the bios just to rule out a software issue (also remove completely and reinstall the drivers as mentioned above by @MaClane ) or probably reset your windows to a factory fresh install ALT+F10 on boot (always backup everything u need first and select the option to not keep you files) if after all of this you still have the same issue i would say its a hardware issue send it for warranty repair/replace if still on warranty
