Acer Predator Helios 300 - high GPU temperature & FPS drops

Hello everyone,
I have had this problem for a while which i tried to deal with myself. No matter what game i play, be it CS:GO or Warframe or DMC5, my CPU usually gets to around 90 degrees celsius max however my gpu is always and constantly at 95 every single time no matter what game i play. sometimes it gets to 96 but stays 95 most of the time and never goes down even with max fans and cool boost. I have tried to fix those problems with "Hotel Hero's" Acer Predator Helios 300 guide but it didn't help. in fact, gpu overclocking and undervolting made it reach 97 degrees after which i had to go back to default settings. Right now all games play just fine on 100+ fps but there are frequent FPS drops from 100 FPS to like 20. I am pretty sure this is not because of the CPU but it is because of GPU constantly running at 95 degrees. Can anybody please help me to find a way to reduce GPU temp, tell me the possible causes and solutions?

Specs:   Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GH
             NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
             16GB RAM

NOTE: I undervolted my cpu at -0.115 V

What are the CPU and GPU temperatures while the laptop is being idle? Can it be that the thermal paste needs to be replaced and/or the laptop cleaned?

How often do you recommend the re-application of Thermal paste. I've had my.laptop for a year now and it reaches temperatures of nearly 80 at max fan speed and Coolboost ( low settings on DotA 2)

this could very well be the problem, while idling both CPU AND GPU temperatures are around 50-60 C

STRIKERWWW definitely optimize windows/undervolt/repaste (kryonaut or similar) these 3 steps will get your temps down its advisable for gaming laptops to repaste once per year depending on the quality of the paste previously applied if it was premium paste like kryonaut it will last much longer if properly applied at start
