I'm a system builder and I have a question about a motherboard from Gateway; the E7922R. This motherboard has 2 power connectoren on board. Can somebody explain me wherefore I need these 2 or one connector. On this motherboard you have the processor power connector J1 / mean power connector J48. Do I have to connect both connectors? Do I need for this a special cable/connectors?
Please help with a good answer because I don't want to make a wrong connection.

Kind regards
Tony

Can you also explain to me about the different between the J1 and the J48. There is a different but I can't find any explanation. Both are power connectors, 1 for the processors ad 1 for the Main. Do I have to connect both?
