I had this laptop for a couple of years now, i bought it in the Philippines and i recently moved here in Australia and was wondering why the Helios 300 here have an ssd and a hdd in it while when i bought mine it only had an hdd with it. i searched how to add an sdd/hdd and it said you have to put it on a separate bay that came with the accessories stuff but when i upgraded it a while ago the supposedly 2nd bay was already on. so am i missing an ssd on the inside? im confused

    Hi,
You have a M.2 SSD slot and a HDD bay in your model, what do you mean by "2nd bay was already on"? If you are in doubt, go to Disk Management and post the snip like mine.

Kel1313 your answer its simple every country have their own specific variants some have only hdd some only ssd some both but the price its also not the same for each version and to connect an ssd you have to disassemble the laptop bottom completely the ssd its internally accessible only not accessible externally

Thanks for this. so does this mean i can still add an m2 ssd on my laptop? do i have to go to an acer shop so that warranty wont be void since its inside?
