We've had campus wifi upgraded recently and since the last Chrome os update we have not been able to maintain a stable connection to either of the wifi SSIDs available.  There is an attempt to connect then approx 5 seconds later it drops that connection and attempts to connect to the other network and then pretty much repeats the process connecting and disconnecting continuously.  It makes it virtually impossible for staff and students to use their chromebooks.

Is it limited to C730 models only? Are no other models available to check on this? Jack E/NJ

No it's not limited to acer - we have HP CBs as well and they have exactly the same problem.  We have contacted their support and are still waiting an answer

Sorry, then it's neither the HP nor ACER hardware. Did they seem to work OK immediately after the WIFI upgrades but before the last Chrome update? Jack E/NJ

Yes - we have some CBs which have not yet updated and they seem to be able to connect with no issues.

If the Chromebooks were updated with the latest stable ChromeOS (NOT the latest Beta experimental ChromeOS version), the only suggestion I can offer is to perform a series of remedial steps that, if unsuccessful, will ultimately lead to factory reset or powerwash as found in this link https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183084. A reset is fairly drastic. So I'd post this issue on the Chromebook community https://support.google.com/chromebook/thread/544482?hl=en before you attempt it. Jack E/NJ
