Hi , I have a Acer Aspire A315-41-R45R . Ryzen 5 mobile with Vega 8 graphics and 8 GB ram ( additional 4 gb ) , My problem is that sometimes when I play games , The battery starts to drop even while its charged , I read somewhere that its normal , But lately I have been getting frame drop too ( as if it was running on battery ) , this is not a thermal or throttling issue , its happening right from the moment I start to play while battery being plugged in. please help.

  • Yes, this occurs when more performance is required. That's why the battery power is also used! Have you tried setting up the battery for high performance too?

Hello thanks for answering it , Yes I have tried all modes for the battery including high performance plan. This did not used to happen before , and when I open the batteryinfo view , it shows that I charger is only sending about 8 watts-11 watts of current , while on the charger says it's Max output is 45 watts , looks like the charger is not able to provide enough power . As I said , this is happening only since two days , and before it was fine , and now I don't know what to do.
    .
    Thanks.
