I sent him a question, because if I'm not mistaken, he has a model similar to yours with the uefi unlocked too!
    Big thanks!

Some users with different predators after replacing the laptop's screen lost the Gsync, despite replacing it with the exact same screen. I think there is something else beside the screen that is required for Gsync and I suspect that it could be part of the screen itself, which could be something that Acer puts additionally for Gsync support, who knows.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

  • @ven98 This display comes with three different display types, see:

However, by searching the panelook site, only the boe model is cited as compatible for g-sync, see:

evopen its not allowed to unlock bios neither ask for any unlocked bios in this community its against Acer policies to unlock any bios on any model it can be done but you would need to dump the existing from the mobo itself one via sp1 programmer get someone to mod it and flash it again via the same way it cant be flashed via normal methods and it might brick your mobo completely if not modded/flashed properly and as you already know you will void your warranty the moment you try this if youre interested in doing it i suggest google it instead dont ask about it here this is not the place

    Hello. I have the same triton 500 (i7 2060) with   B156HAN08.2 .
Did you solve the problem with g-sync? I really think to move my laptop back to shop and buy Y740 with working g-sync.

No sure but as it was said probably G-Sync will only work properly with ready external monitors
