Hello everyone. I have AN515-52-77S9. I re-installed the app after updating drivers through driver manager. The app is installed fine, but none of the options seem to be working. Is this happening to anyone else or just me? Any help would be appreciated. I could revert to previous driver, but would rather look for a solution before doing that. Thanks in advace.
PS: Realtek audio version is 6.0.1.8581
OS: Windows 10

OK let's start over again and go a different way that worked for me, I think part of the problem is that when Windows update updates the Realtek driver it somehow uninstalls or corrupts Dolby and there is a defined process to reinstall, you don't have to uninstall the corrupt one just follow these steps.
Go here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7572?b=1 and download the Audio Driver save it to the Desktop  Open the file but do NOT run the Realtek installer. Double click on DAX2 then double click X64 then double click on DAX2 App Release, answer yes to any security popups. When it has installed Restart then go back to your start menu from the windows Icon and see if Dolby is now there, if it is click it and the black Dolby Icon can be dragged to your Taskbar. This has worked for me, click Accept Answer if it does

Thanks for replying andylb. When I said I re-installed the dolby app, I meant the same thing you had suggested. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I installed it from the official drivers available on acer's product page. App is installed fine, but there's absolutely no change in the audio even after choosing any of the given options (like dynamic, movie, music)  :/

I think the audio changes are pretty subtle mine are anyway

I guess I have no other choice but to do a re-install of drivers. I will report back once I do that.
