Does my acer nitro an515-52 support nvme m.2 1tb?

Hi, a sent my laptop to an authorized service center to install a nvme m.2 1tb on my acer nitro 5. The model of the drive is XPG GAMMIX S11 Pro 1tb PCIe Gen3x4 M.2 2280 from ADATA. The problem is they told that the nvme was faulty because it was undetected in Windows. They told me it was rare to happen. I asked him if he had tested it in any other devices and he said he didn´t. So I took my drive to a pc components store to test it on other devices and it appears my drive Works just fine.

So I don´t know if the guy working on the authorized center couldn´t manage to installed it properly, or if there is no compatibility with my laptop. The Pc components store said to me that maybe I should change my drive for another with lower capacity because sometimes 1tb can´t be handled in acer nitro 5.

Hello! Is ssd correctly recognized in the uefi information section? Press f2 as soon as you turn on the notebook to verify this information! Also, you need to convert ssd to gpt so that it is recognized on windows!

Hi! I´m not sure as the technician did the process but I believe it was recognized in bios but not on windows, I will attach some screenshots he took regarding the installation. Also my laptop uases intel optane so he had to disable it in intel rapid storage technology. Inside windows the drive only appeared in Intel Rapid storage as a PCIe with 0gb

First make sure ssd is recognized here:

Yes, the technician said it appeared in BIOS
Right know mi laptop doesn´t has the nvme installed so I can´t send you an image of the BIOS and i can´t install it myself because I don´t want my warranty removed

Technician said he will update BIOS and will try again on monday and that maybe the reason it isn´t working is because that model is not compatible at all.

Do you have the notebook now? Is ssd still installed on the notebook? If ssd appeared correctly in the uefi firmware information section, it means that your notebook recognized it. If it was not identified by windows, this is why ssd might not have converted to gpt file format!
