Predator g5-793-72au not charging

All of a sudden my laptop dosent charge , i figured the charger went bad so i took the charger to a technician to see if it was faulty, and bingo the charger does not emit electricity. I went ahead and purchased a new chargers and it still dosent charge( i had the same exact issue before ,when it was under warranty and acer repaired it.my laptop is 2 years old)
So i figured it was the charging port itself. Wrong again i replaced it and still nothing. The pin near the ram is being pushed down as i read in another thread ,so i know thats not the issue. Im all out if ideas. Please help

The laptop itself turns on, it has a little juice battery left. So i cant imagine the battery is faulty.

Hi @Georgieboii,
Even after trying with new adapter if your not able to charge the unit then the issue might be with battery itself on the unit, so it has to be changed.
Also you can with local store technician and physically diagnose the unit some times the charging port might have gone bad. so check with the repair technician.

@Du_little thanks for the help. I have changed the charging port. the battery is still on 50% and the laptop turns on. Ive purchased a none original charger(the pictures of the charger i purchased are listed above). If its the battery , why does it still hold a charge? Thanks again.

Try connecting with different Adapter , and check whether the battery is charging.

I think it might be some problem with the battery. However, try these procedures:

a) uninstall these drivers and restart the notebook:

Check to see if it solves the problem.

b) Try reinstalling windows by pressing alt + f10 before the Acer logo to check whether or not there is a problem with the operating system.

Do you still have the original power adapter and are you sure that it is in trouble?

None of the above seems to be working. I appreciate the help from everyone. The original charger is not emitting any power( i took it to a repair shop and they had voltage readers) at this point i have no clue what to do.It has happened once before while under warranty, then after i get my laptop back a few moths later boom the same problem. I think its time to purchase another laptop,but for sure it will not be another acer(if it cant last even 2 years then i dont want it)

There are still some tips you can try:

a) Try disconnecting the battery from the motherboard and plug it in again!

b) Try reinstalling windows by pressing alt + f10 before the Acer logo!

c) Try also to update the drivers on the intel and nvidia websites

d) and last and much riskier, upgrade firmware uefi to version 1.14! Remembering that updating uefi is very risky and may or may not solve the problem!
