@Tulla  and  @DeZupe  my answer to both of you and everyone else who complains about fps issues and slags acer for it over and over again without even had done nothing to fix it properly is firstly out of the box disable windows updates permanently update only what you need manually, optimize windows/undervolt and if still needed due to still possible thermal throttling repaste (with kryonaut or similar) and secondly upgrade the laptop 8gb will not do you any good on with any game you need minimum 16gb dual channel also depending on the games you might need them to be installed on the ssd or not some are required some not and finally make sure you always have 20/40gb free al all times on the system drive  and enough windows virtual memory i have 10gb virtual memory never had a single issue (the more virtual memory you add the less disk space you have) but i also have 32gb hyperx and 2tb wd blue ssd so resuming if you buy a predator with only 8gb ram and 128gb ssd because its cheaper you will certainly have to upgrade the ram and the ssd dont expect it to work perfectly the way you intend to without optimizations and upgrades and never play on battery always on AC with the battery @100% also dont expect that non optimized games from 12 years ago to work as good as the recent ones properly optimized these gpus didnt even existed 12 years ago its the same as for ex expecting a car from the 1940's to go up to 200km/h (anyway just an ex)
