Hello, I have an Aspire A5 and was wondering what my options would be if I ever wanted to upgrade my components in the future. Are the CPU, GPU and/or RAM soldered onto the motherboard? If anyone knows, please tell me what components are and aren't soldered on. My warranty is still valid, so I don't want to take apart the laptop to see for myself. Thank you for any answers!

    Good night mudkipscience !

In this model, processor (i5-7200U) and dedicated GPU (GeForce® MX150) are integrated in the motherboard not being possible to exchange or upgrade.

As for RAM, this model supports up to 20Gb (4Gb soldered motherboard and a single slot for expansion of up to 16Gb) SO-DIMM DDR4 1866 / 2133Mhz

As for SSD, it has support with slot M.2 2280 Sata 3 or NVMe Gen3x4 up to 256Gb tested by Acer.
