I got a prompt from Intel Rapid Storage Technology a week ago to protect by data from disc failure. I went through with it and I found out that I no longer have access to my D Drive anymore. After speaking with Intel, they said that the application created a RAID 1 configuration with my HDD/SSD. This RAID 1 configuration merged both HDD/SSD into 1 redundant drive. Because both HDD/SSD have different sizes, the bigger one equalized the storage size to match the smaller one, this caused that the rest of the storage space obtained an unallocated status. Thus, I can no longer access my D drive.

I have searched for a solution across forums on to fix this issue, but it turned fruitless.

BIOS does not have an option for me to delete the RAID volume. Nor can it be undone with IRST.

My laptop model is G9-591-70VM and I'm operating with Windows 10.

I did try IronFly's raid tool method, but the command prompt says I'm using the wrong version of IRST.

Is there any solution to this?

this means you already had a newer version than the RAID tool and there's nothing else you can do, apart taking off the HDD.
    I'm not an Acer employee.
