ACER NITRO 5 AN515-42-R33Z LCD IPS screen problems (it looks like pixels burning static images)

hello,

I am using ACER NITRO 5 AN515-42-R33Z laptop. After a while I noticed that laptop lcd looks like pixels burning static images. however, the pixels are restored for longer when the laptop is turned off, but only for a short time.

for example, I watch YouTube video and close my web browser. everything looks good and there is no change. open steam and behind steam barely visible to see YouTube web page ( web browser is closed ).

all drivers on computer are updated, bios also the latest v1.13 .

One color picture in full screen displayed you can see the same result (photo below). not with all colors this problem is visible .

when you make Alt + PrtSc, the image does not display image distortions. distortions are only visible through the camera and the eye.

maybe you know how to solve this problem?

yeah. it screen retention. its usually seen in phone screens.
solution is to get the display panel replaced

In LCD displays it is called Image Persistence. One proactive approach to removing image persistence is to cover the entire display area with pure white for an extended period of time. An easy way to do this is to navigate to "about:blank" in any web browser and press F11 to cover the entire screen, make sure you suspend Hibernation or Standby. This allows the Crystals to relax and I would do it for about 24 hrs. Do not go to the expense of replacing your screen until you have tried this

Alright. Try this. If issue isn't solved then Acer can replace it for free if machine is in warranty, right?

Not a guaranteed fix but worth a try before going to all the hassle of replacement
