Well, this is not a Community I was looking forward to joining this morning yet, here I am. Like so many of the others, I very careful with my laptop because I don't have enough money to continually replace them. I purchased my Acer exactly 2 years ago and have had absolutely no trouble with it until last night. I had just finished ordering a few things when I went to close my laptop and go to bed. As I closed it I noticed that there seemed to be a slight gap in the back (hinge part) of my Acer. I have never had this happen and I have, over the years, owned 4 laptops. I am thoroughly disappointed in this product. My son did a lot of research to help me find the best, reasonably priced laptop and suggested I buy this one. I purchased it through Amazon. Do you know if they can help me at all since it has been two years? Please help me. Is there some way that I can fix this myself? How much is charged to have it serviced?
