Fixing an F5-573G lid query

Hi all,

My partner's Acer Aspire F5-573G has come under bad times. The lid has come disconnected from the chaise of the laptop, and now is unable to close. Repairs have been quoted near half the laptop's original cost, and Acer repair is quoting that just for shipping it to them for repair. I am trying to seek alternative parts to attempt a repair myself.

A part from this problem, the remaining of the laptop is in excellent condition.

For this specification of laptop, when searching, I find a lot of Acer E5 573s, and my question is are their lids the same size and fixture for the laptop I am fixing in question, the Aspire F5-573G?

The F5 and E5 lid part numbers are shown below. If they don't match, they won't fit. Usually googling the part numbers will find a source. Frankly, colored coordinated duct tape and JBWeld have fixed many of these kinds of lid problems. Jack E/NJ
