Acer Chromebook CB3-431 no mics work at all

I bought a second hand Chromebook (refurbished) from a personal seller on Thursday from eBay and I have noticed that the microphone is not working at all during the google assistant at setup. 

So Updated the google os to latest version just incase case and the issue still occurs

 I have tried usb microphones and headsets via the jack and usb ports and I cannot get any microphone to work at all on the device?

5 wired headsets, various brands via usb and 3.5 jack and Airpods via Bluetooth

I can hear sound via the 3.5 jack, usb and bluetooth with headphones and I can see the mic input in the settings and had selected it. However the mic does not work

I have checked all the settings I think I can check so far in the settings option and allowed all for the browser.

I have reset the device twice and I have power washed it and just done a reset 

Tried the camera app for video, video but no sound.

YouTube works for sound but no mic

Tried turning off blue booth, checking any mic settings that I can see on the settings and what I could see on chrome.
Tried various mic testing websites also to no avail

I tried to do a hardware reset with the refresh button and the power button but I cant get it to work?

What will I need to acer to help me fix this if I have to send it for repair

I think it could be software related if none of the headsets mics are not working at all?

    Hi, I see that your mic is not working in your Chromebook. Since you have the bought the refurbished unit very recently and also since you have tried all the Trouble Shooting steps, you can contact the Acer Support for refurbished units. Below is the contact phone number and the working hours of the Support Service.

    @logyon did you get your mic fixed?
    I am having same issue. Sound works find, just my mic is not working at all. I purchased acer chromebook online via walmart in April 2020.  I didnt realize it was a refurbished version until I received it. I too have tried alot of troubleshooting, checked settings, i dont have external mic or headphones. Seems all the answers I find are to just return and get different device. Do I need to contact support Refurbished Unit - 1-844-433-8476 ? I really don't want to have to return.

    Update: I contact Acer on fb, they were able to help me fix the problem via mictest.com all better now
