when its charging i get a small electric shock from the right bottom corner. the same side as the charging port.
it dosnt happen when its not plugged in.
this model of laptop has a metal body and case. i have taken the bottom off to see if anything is touching the caseing but i dont
see anything obvious
is this just a side effect of having a metal cased laptop. its a very small shock like being flicked.
any help in fixing it would be appreciated.
thanks

    Good night billyjo1288 !

This occurs when the device is not connected to a properly grounded electrical network.
The voltage of the ground wire voltage when not grounded can cause discharges to the metal parts.

How would I fix this or will I have to take it into a repair shot. It's not causing much trouble as I don't normally use my laptop when it plugged it charging

Does it occur when in use only on the battery?

Good afternoon, I have the same problem with my Swift 3 , but I have learnt a lot about electricity I am sure that your answer is incorrect. Acer swift or any laptops has no connection to ground wire, it is a so called double-insulation system  without connection to ground wire, just check the charger plug, you can see only connection to electric network not to ground wire....  it is very similar to mobile phone charger, no ground wire connection. The solution is different
