Hi for the past two months my laptop keyboard has not been working. I have done practically everything short of sending it to a physical repair shop, because I am adamant that the problem must be software-related. My laptop keyboard does not work (none of the keys except the power button; but the touchpad is still good), but it does work when I run BIOS. After doing hours of troubleshooting, I discovered a few things: I'm missing my Standard/PS2 driver, Elan EzTouchFilter is giving me a Code 10 error, and Detection Verification is giving me a Code 45. Even after clearing my laptop and restoring to factory settings, I am still stuck with these same Driver problems. I have been using my laptop with an external keyboard.

When I go into the Elan EzTouchfilter and look up "Problem Status" I come back with this:
Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.
C000009A

Status hits me with:
01802400
DN_HAS_PROBLEM
DN_DISABLEABLE
DN_NT_ENUMERATOR
DN_NT_DRIVER

Basically, I can only use my laptop keyboard in BIOS. I believe I have a software driver problem.
Thank you.

Tried installing the drivers from Acer Support page for touchpad? Try updating keyboard driver from Device Manager.

Or even try to rollback windows or any windows update that you got recently that probably messed it up last option acer factory reset first keeping your files and if not fixed fresh install but backup everything u might need first because it will be all gone after
